The
"rainbirds" have been driving me nuts for
almost a month now, but so far only a hint of rain for
our dry and thirsty land. We hope, not only for the
sake of our dehydrated selves, but for our precious
lake, that ole raingod Tlaloc fixes his hearing aid
soon and heeds the rainbirds' cacophony. But you know,
this happens every year and guess what? The rainy season
never fails to show up, usually making a grand and flashy
entrance. Stay cool, drink your litres of water and
bide the time "con calma." Probably by now
you've already dug out your umbrella.
